Submit your portfolio

Your portfolio is submitted digitally in our portfolio system SlideRoom, applyartsgu.slideroom.eu

SlideRoom closes at midnight (CET) on the day of deadline and after that it is not possible to submit. When you have submitted your portfolio in time you receive a confirmation e-mail from SlideRoom.

NOTE: Uploading media files in SlideRoom can be a time-consuming process, so it is very important to start early before closing time. It is not possible to submit or complete an application after midnight.

For the purpose of handling and reviewing work samples, we use an external service provided by SlideRoom Technologies Inc. By using the service, you agree that the University of Gothenburg may handle your personal data and material submitted via SlideRoom in order to evaluate your application for education. The material you upload remains with SlideRoom until you choose to remove it from their servers. The University of Gothenburg may, by individual agreement with the applicant and in a way that the university decides, offer an alternative opportunity to submit work samples.

Selection and Admission

All complete applications are assessed by a jury consisting of representatives from the department.

Your academic qualifications are assessed separately from the portfolio. If you do not meet the entry requirement, your application is unqualified. If you are unqualified the jury has the possibility of making exemptions from the requirements, if they have ranked your portfolio high and considers your background to be equal that of the requirements. This is done on the initiative of the jury and you cannot ask for this assessment to be made.
